Lions Health has appointed jury presidents for this year’s awards, picking Josh Prince and Alexandra von Plato to lead its Health & Wellness Lions and Pharma Lions juries respectively.
Alexandra von Plato is group president, North America at Publicis Healthcare and Josh Prince president of The CDM Group.
Terry Savage, chairman of Lions Festivals, said: “We want Lions Health to empower the industry and change people’s mindsets by showcasing global work that has had significant impact as a result of creativity. Josh and Alexandra will know all too well the specific challenges that face the healthcare industry.”
CDM’s Josh Prince (pictured left) added: “Creativity is an incredibly powerful health tool. We can’t and shouldn’t underestimate its ability to connect and engage people with things that matter to their health.
“Creativity isn’t an indulgence … it’s good for people, good for propelling healthy ideas and good for business.”
The awards take place as part of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in June and Lions Health is now in its third year.
The 2016 awards add several new Pharma Lions categories, including branded utilities and patient to healthcare professional communications.
