A new pan-European network has formed that brings together leading healthcare communications networks from across the region.

HEAL (HEalthcare Communications Alliance) is intended to offer healthcare clients a global communications approach that also takes into account specialist country knowledge from local agencies.

According to the group clients can use HEAL to “obtain instant access to shared experience, shared partnerships and shared contacts”.

Its founding members include Packer Forbes, representing the UK and Ireland, and Cramer Gesundheits Consulting (CGC), which covers Germany and Switerland.

France is represented by PRPA, Italy by Med Stage and Scandinavia by effector. Inforpress covers Spain and Portugal, as well as several Latin American countries including Columbia and Brazil.

Alexa Forbes, CEO of Packer Forbes commented “We are already working with a number of our HEAL partners on joint accounts and look forward to continuing to build on these relationships.

“This new collaboration is tremendously exciting for us, as it will enable us to offer our clients an even stronger integrated European or global communications service”.

It should be noted that HEAL (HEalthcare Communications Alliance) is a separate entity to HEAL (International), an alliance of independent healthcare media agencies in the key European markets and the US.
