Healthcare Communiquétor 2016 Anna Korving

Healthcare communications stalwart Anna Korving picked up the HCA Award for Healthcare Communiquétor at the 2016 Communiqué Awards in London last week.

The prestigious award recognises outstanding personal achievement at a very senior level in healthcare communications, whether in industry or agency-side.

Anna co-founded, built and sold a highly successful communications business and, prior to her current sabbatical, she was previously executive VP, global business development for Publicis Healthcare Communications Group.

Anna continues to lead the Women in Healthcare Agency Management (WHAM), along with acting as a mentor to previous colleagues and new talent.

In her nomination for the prestigious award Anna was praised for her “tremendous drive, energy and passion” and for being a “true advocate” for healthcare communications in all of its various forms.

Matt de Gruchy, CEO, Ogilvy Healthworld, said: “Anna has hugely impressive credentials. She is generous with her time beyond the business - with the HCC, Communiqué and WHAM and also with individuals as a mentor.

“She really gets and advocates integrated communications, not just PR and is a strong industry advocate. Furthermore she is a great personality to work with.”

Caroline Gosling, head of global internal communications at GSK, added: “Anna is a highly successful business leader who contributes her time to the development of people, demonstrating real investment in creating leaders of the future. She has a clear and long-standing commitment to the industry, chairing the WHAM group even while on sabbatical.”
