The Pharmaceutical Market Excellence Awards (PMEA) programme for 2013 is now open for entry, with organisations invited to submit work that demonstrates responsible marketing and business practice in healthcare.
Produced by PMLiVE publisher PMGroup, PMEA 2013 aims to recognise work that has played a role in benefiting society, in getting medicine to the patient, ensuring that it is used in the best way and whose outcome is fairly evaluated.
The last few years have proven to be a particularly testing time for the healthcare industry and major challenges have had to be faced. This changing environment means that new, intelligent and creative ways of working have been introduced to bring about improvements in healthcare for patients and value for healthcare providers and payers.
PMEA 2013 reflects those changes and its 18 categories are specifically designed to recognise and commend excellence, best practice and innovation in local, European and international healthcare markets.

PMEA is now in its 13th year and success at the awards continues to be recognised as a key driver for business growth and for building morale with internal and external stakeholders alike.

Entry is open to UK or European pharmaceutical, biotech, ethical, life science, OTC and medical device/diagnostic companies; healthcare agencies and consultancies; management consultants acting on behalf (and with the full authorisation) of a client pharmaceutical company; patient associations and charities; and trade organisations and professional bodies.
Deadline for entry is Thursday July 25, 2013, with an extension to July 31 available at an additional charge.
The PMEA 2013 ceremony will take place at The London Hilton, Park Lane, on November 28, 2013.
