Communiqué Awards 2018 are open for entry

This year the med comms programme adds two new categories

Communiqué Awards 2018

The 2018 Communiqué Awards are now open for entry and on the look out for outstanding work in local, European and global healthcare communications.

The Awards, which are widely recognised as a high point of the PR and med ed calendar, will this year take place on Thursday 28 June.

Anna Korving, chair of Communiqué Awards judging panel, said: “To win a Communiqué Award is a tremendous accolade, because it means that programmes or initiatives, individuals and teams have made a real difference – to patients, to stakeholders and influencers, and to the reputation of our industry itself.”

This year the programme will include two new categories: Excellence in Integrated Non-Promotional Communications and Excellence in Communication Through Creative Execution.

The former category recognises best practice in integrated non-promotional communications for prescription medicines, OTC, medical devices and consumer health brands.

Meanwhile, the Creative Execution category rewards campaigns that show the very best in conveying a message through creative execution. Entries will be accepted for any medium and will demonstrate creative excellence.

PMGroup’s events manager Debbie Tuesley said: “Now in its 21st year, the Communiqué Awards continue to evolve with the changes in the healthcare industry, ensuring that the Awards recognise and reward campaigns and activities that change perceptions or behaviour and ultimately deliver very real improvements to patient care.”

The Communiqué Awards are run by PMLiVE’s publisher the PMGroup and this year’s key dates are 8 March (entry deadline), 15 March (extended entry deadline – additional fee applies)
and 28 June (Awards dinner)
