PMLiVE publisher PMGroup has promoted Ellie Duncanson-Hunter to events director.
Formerly the company’s awards and marketing manager, Duncanson-Hunter will continue her close involvement with the Communiqué Awards and PMEA and will now also lead the team behind the QiC (Quality in Care) Programme.
She joined PMGroup in 2011 from the Geological Society of London, where she worked in the events team, and her previous roles include serving at AstraZeneca as meetings executive to the specialist care brand teams.
In her new role Duncanson-Hunter will oversee Communiqué, whose 2014 awards programme has just been launched, and she will also sit on PMGroup’s leadership team.
Commenting on her appointment she said: “Following Datateam’s acquisition of PMGroup last December it’s an exciting time for the business and I’m delighted to be leading the events team through it.”
